Published today in JAMA Internal Medicine - Truveta Research comparative effectiveness study on Mounjaro vs. Ozempic. Now peer-reviewed, looks at over 18,000 patients split between the two drugs (the clinical trial with only 700 patients should report out sometime next year).

We’ve had a tradition of kicking off Planning Week with a guest speaker that we can learn from and be inspired by. Past planning weeks have been kicked off by Rod Hochman, M.D. to discuss the healthcare industry, Geoffrey Moore to discuss Crossing the Chasm, and Dr. Bapu Jena to discuss societal insights from healthcare data.For this Planning Week, it was so fun to host the old boss.Thank you, Steve Ballmer, for bringing your authentic inspiration to Truveta, sharing your entrepreneurial story of building a generational company from the ground (and couch) up, and teaching us about locomotives and cabooses! I feel lucky to be able to consider you a truly great ex-boss, friend, and mentor. Go LA Clippers!

It was hard not to tear up seeing this incredible team of Truvetans in person Monday morning. It’s getting more expensive to bring the whole team together twice per year for our Planning Week tradition, but I just love the time spent together to celebrate and plan our next steps together.

Thank you, Jim, for your support in founding Truveta in 2020. Those pandemic Teams calls, where we were both drinking our Vitamin Water Zero and wearing our respective team sweatshirts, are some of my favorite founding memories. Your vision of how we can "make every clinician an expert" (https://tr.vet/3yEq1z4) still provides inspiration. We are so lucky tohave Bobbie Byrne, MD MBA as the Advocate Health representative on our Board of Directors to carry on your legacy.

1 in 8 men in this country will develop prostate cancer. Crazy. But it’s exciting to hear researchers sharing their excitement to be able to study full patient journeys from the urology clinic into the oncologist’s office – for the first time using Truveta Data! I love that feeling of just knowing the teams’ efforts will make a big impact. https://lnkd.in/gD4yDp4D
